Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office For her role, she was awarded the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress and two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by the Ensemble Comedy.
Jenna was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna grew up watching her mother Anne, in church productions. The experience instilled an interest in theater.
Fischer was a theater actress in her own country. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway show Reasons to be Happy. In the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's hilarious comedy Meteor Shower.
Angela Kinsey from The Office (the co-star of Fischer) as well as her actual best friend Angela Kinsey of The Office, started a podcast in the month of October. It was titled Office Ladies. The show is now extremely well-known and has landed in the Top Ten every single week. In its first year, it received more than 200,000,000 downloads. The podcast premiered in January of 2021. Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
She is the writer of two books. The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide that recounts her experience through St. Louis to Hollywood to become a working actor, as well as the upcoming Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two of the Best Friends That Were There (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) The book is the story of their greatest friendship and time working on The Office.
