Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 in 1967. She is the fourth Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta from her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was a young man when he was interested in theatre. While a student at Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both in and outside of campus. He joined the Air Force and while stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a show that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and in 1956 their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in the year 1957. Walter was employed to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to be a part of the production team for the television show Bum Bum His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for kids named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, a project they self-financed. They also founded the Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it ran for 6 years. The couple also had two children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known by the name Julie).
