Allison Brooks Janney, an American actress. The American actress is well-known for her work on the stage and on screen. After nearly twenty years in the regional theatre as an actress, Allison Janney became a household star as White House press secretary C.J. Gregg was a part of the highly popular and acclaimed TV show The West Wing, which was in 1999 and 2006 on NBC from 1999 to 2006. Allison Janney is a natural late bloomer. It took her a full year more than her Ohio classmates to get an driver's license. After she graduated from university and had her first date, it did not happen. Although she auditioned in the age of 23, Faris wasn't able to start starring onscreen until she was in the age of 30. Faris, who left Mom in the year 2020, has decided to be very selective in her roles. Her roles have been primarily in animations with the one exception, 2022's The Estate. Faris tells PEOPLE specifically that this was not an option she chose to make. Anna Faris left her popular CBS sitcom, Mom, before the eighth season's final episode. Faris stated at the time she would be leaving the show to explore possibilities for a new career. Now, Faris is opening up on the motivations behind her choice. This wasn't a decision she made consciously. Janney is sporting a wig since the beginning of the series, was not worried. Fallon declared, "Everyone knows now that I've worn a hairpiece since the first season, but nobody was aware of it." Janney plans to keep the wig in her possession as a souvenir. The first few seasons of the show, it was reported that she was earning as much as $125,000 per episode. Faris made an estimated $200 for each episode during the fourth and third seasons.
