Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti] Romania). She was the first gymnast to score a perfect 10 in an Olympic celebration. Bela Karolyi, later Romanian Gymnastics Coach, came across Comaneci as she was only seven years old. First competing in the junior national championships of Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. In 1970, she won. In her very first international contest in 1972, she came out on top having won three golds. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals at her debut competition as a senior that took place in 1975. This was the first time she competed as a senior. She was the winner of the American Cup in New York City in 1976 becoming the first woman in history to complete a reverse double salto, which is dismounting from the uneven bars parallel to each other. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens she began her career in the entertainment industry as a performer as figure skater. Together with her sister Nina Wayne she was part of the traveling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942, in Chicago Illinois. Carol entered the entertainment industry as a teenager. Her first job was as a model skater with her sibling Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around known as Ice Capades. They featured ice skating shows that included theatrical performances.
