Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on August 20th 1974 in Aviano, Italy). American actress. Famous for her naive and charming characters. Adams was among seven children who lived as a young child in the city of Castle Rock, Colorado. She was born while her father worked in the U.S. Military in Italy. At the beginning of 1990, Adams started dancing and performing professionally for the Boulder Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. In the following year in Minnesota in a small local theatre she was selected to play a role in the mock documentary about beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous. Then, in Los Angeles, she pursued acting after her film debut in which she portrayed the dizzy, but friendly contestant. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 and September 1962. The couple had children: Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was discovered by actress Norma Shearer and was offered a contract to be a part of MGM during the 1940s. She starred in a number of cult films over the following decade, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) and Living It Up (1954) with Martin Lewis.
